Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to this website and to tailoring services provided by BombayFashionWPG, doing business as BombayFashionWPG, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. By using the website or placing an order you agree to them. They are governed by the laws of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

The online catalog is for information only and is not an offer that we must accept. Colours vary between screens, and handmade garments can differ slightly from photos. We may change or remove products and prices at any time. Prices are in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise.

The staff management area is for authorized people only. Trying to access it without permission, guess passwords or interfere with the site is prohibited.

• An order is confirmed when we agree the garment, price and due date and record it.
• Garments are made from the measurements taken at your fitting or supplied by you. If you supply your own measurements you are responsible for their accuracy.
• Delivery dates are estimates and we work to meet them. Delays outside our control (fabric supply, illness and similar) do not make us liable for losses.
• Changes after cutting begins may cost extra.

• We may ask for a deposit before work begins. The balance is due when you pick up the garment.
• Any discount applies only to the order it was given for.
• We accept the payment methods shown in the shop (for example cash, card and e-transfer).

If a garment made to agreed measurements does not fit, we will adjust it at no charge within 14 days of pickup, provided it has not been worn outside, washed or altered elsewhere. For alterations to your own garments we use our best skill; we will tell you beforehand about known risks, and we are not responsible for existing weaknesses in fabric or stitching that only show up during the work.

• Made-to-measure garments are made specifically for you. Deposits are non-refundable once cutting or sewing has started.
• If you cancel before work begins we will refund your deposit less the cost of any materials already bought for you.
• If we can't deliver a garment as agreed, we will offer a remake, a repair or a refund of what you paid for it.

Nothing here limits any rights you have under Manitoba consumer protection law.

We will contact you when your order is ready. Garments not collected within 90 days of that notice may be stored for a reasonable charge, and after 180 days may be sold or donated to recover our costs, to the extent the law allows.

We take reasonable care of garments while they are in our shop. We aren't responsible for damage after pickup, including wear or washing contrary to the care instructions we give. Our liability for loss or damage to a garment in our care is limited to the price you paid for the service on that order.

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Photos on this website belong to us or are used with permission and may not be copied without our written consent. If you give us reference photos you confirm you have the right to share them.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as a missed event) arising from the website or our services, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us for the order in question. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

We may update these terms; the version on the website when you place your order applies to that order. Questions?
